In our initial meeting, we sit down with you to find out about your current lifestyle  and where you see it in the future. We work to fully understand your situation and use our expertise to give you advice tailored to your needs. We take into consideration any group insurance coverage you may have through your employer, any coverage you have taken out privately, creditor insurance, current and past health history and your financial situation.  We educate you on all of the options available to you, to allow you to make an informed decision. After you have made the decision to buy a policy, you have taken the first step to protecting your family.

 

The next step is the underwriting process, where the insurance companies have to decide whether or not you are a risk they are willing to insure. They will generally require a medical questionnaire as well as a paramedical exam, where a nurse comes to your house and takes your blood pressure, urine and blood sample.

 

After the underwriting is complete, the policy is either placed as a standard risk, rated or declined. We personally deliver the policy to you for final review to go over any key details in which you should be aware.
